As well as showcasing the finest graduating talent from the internationally recognised arts institution, the evening offered a nostalgic look back over the various sites that have been home to the University since 1939, as mass relocation is imminent.
Of the 45 designers on show, a number were awarded prizes, judges by a panel of industry experts which included Alexandre Roux of John Galliano, Carola Long of the Financial Times, Craig Lawrence, Luke Hersheson, Lucas Ossendrijver from Lanvin Homme and the designer Lutz. The proceedings were sponsored by L'Oreal Professional, with the evening hosted by Hilary Alexander and Alexander McQueen's Sarah Burton in attendance.
Flaminia Saccucci was named as this years 'Young Talent' with her latex, floral and cleverly cut collection comprising of ditsy prints and tribal tattoo banding in an impressive juxtaposition.
