Erdem Moralioglu, reigning prince of the watercolour print, has continued his successful collaboration with luxury luggage makers Globe-Trotter for another season. His mini collection for them includes three cases; one oversized, one trolley case and one small vanity box. Yesterday we were lucky enough to witness the latest pieces from the collaboration, including the exceptionally wonderful vanity case above.
Crafted from deep purple leather with traditional reinforced metal corners, the case opens to reveal Erdem's stunning watercolour printed silk (as used in his AW 10 collection).
The compartments and in built mirror make this an essential item for the most style-conscious of travellers, ideal for taking your beauty accoutrements and jewellery along with you on a romantic break to Lucerne or Rome. Even if you were only going to a cottage in Norfolk, carrying this case would make anyone feel like a 1940s movie star!
The Erdem for Globe-Trotter collection will be available from the luggage brand's London flagship store in Burlington Arcade as well as Harrods, Selfridges, Browns and Net-a-porter.
